Following their interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have given William and Kate Middleton trust issues.
According to a royal expert, Prince William and Kate Middleton are still finding it difficult to fully trust Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after their explosive claims during their sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
Katie Nicholl, a royal expert, stated in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that the Cambridges’ avoidance of the Sussexes during their visit to the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee wasn’t just due to busy schedules, but also due to trust issues.
According to Nicholl, “I think that does signal not just a busy schedule on the part of the Cambridges but perhaps also a bit of a lack of trust,”
“I am aware that William and Kate are concerned about the possibility of their words or actions being leaked to the media. I believe they now really need to demonstrate their reliability, she continued.
“Harry and Meghan are going to have to respect the wishes of the royals,” continued Nicholl, “if there’s going to be any chance of moving on, repairing relationships, and really trying to heal some pretty deep wounds.”
“I think Harry and Meghan are definitely going to have to respect the wishes of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles and that these meetings remain private,” she said in her conclusion.
