In one of the worst cases to date, supporters of Johnny Depp have come under fire for attempting to cyberbully Amber Heard.
Bot Sentinel has made this accusation as part of a report.
For the uninitiated, the company specialises in the identification of false information and harassment on the internet.
According to their research, the company was able to identify almost 3,288 accounts that took part in the bullying campaign using statements and hashtags like #AmberHeardIsAnAbuser, #AmberHeardLsAnAbuser, #AmberHeardIsALiar, and #AmberHeardLsALiar.
Nearly 19% of those accounts were created specifically for the purpose of harassing, troll-ing, and bullying Amber Heard.
They said, “Women who tweeted in support of Amber Heard were subjected to rampant abuse and targeted harassment on Twitter.
Even more information about the incident of one of Amber’s supporters who was harassed with pictures of her late son was provided by Bot Sentinel.
The group claims that “someone made a fake account and trolled the woman because she tweeted in support of Amber Heard using a photo of the woman’s deceased child.”
Later, “toxic trolls” attacked other supporters after many others imitated them.
