Yami Gautam was born on November 28, 1988, is an Indian actress and model who appears mainly in Hindi films. She has also appeared in a few films from Kannada, Telugu, Punjabi, Malayalam and Tamil. In addition to acting, she is a leading celebrity for brands and products.
In 2012, Yami Gautam debuted at Bollywood with the movie Vicky Donor. Upon release, the film was a critical and commercial success, and Gautam received positive reviews and several nominations for his performance.
Gautams friend was born in a Himachali family in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh and was raised in Chandigarh. His father, Mukesh Gautam, is a Punjabi director. His mother is Anjali Gautam. Yami has a sister Surilie Gautam, who debuted on the big screen with the Punjabi Power Cut movie. She studied regularly and later went to university to pursue a law degree. She had aspired to join Indian Administrative Services (IAS) as a girl, but at age 20, Yami decided to start her acting career. Even though she was studying law, she left school full time to take action. Recently, she studied part time in Mumbai. Yami enjoys reading, interior design and listening to music.
