Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has heaped praises on Mithali Raj, who’s the first-ever Indian girl cricketer to obtain the Main Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award.
Taapsee might be seen taking part in Mithali Raj, who has the excellence of being the very best ODI run-getter in ladies’s cricket, within the biopic titled ‘Shabaash Mithu’, directed by Srijit Mukherjee.
Posting a video of the ladies’s cricket group captain being bestowed the honour by President Ram Nath Kovind, Taapsee tweeted: “Simply by listening to this exhaustingly lengthy introduction of her accolades I really feel she truly deserves a sequence made on her, not only a movie.” She added: “So inspiring.”
The actress has wrapped up taking pictures for ‘Shabaash Mithu’. She additionally handled her followers to an image of her within the movie.

In translation, Taapsee’s caption reads: “I used to be eight when somebody made me dream of the day when cricket wouldn’t be solely a gentleman’s sport. Ladies, too, can have a group, an identification. ‘Ladies in Blue’ are coming quickly. Very quickly.”
With the subsequent ICC Ladies’s Cricket World Cup being scheduled to be held in New Zealand in March-April 2022, and with India beneath Raj’s captaincy aiming to make it to the ultimate for the third time (and win the trophy), the biopic could not have been extra appropriately timed.
