She had made the decision to marry Salman. ‘We used to watch Hindi flicks,’ she explained. I saw ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya,’ and Salman developed a crush on me. That night, I had a dream in which I resolved to travel to India. When I was 16, I thought it was a joke that I could move to Mumbai and marry Salman. Somi stated that she was looking for a luggage and had informed her mother that she was leaving for Mumbai to marry Salman.

Ali went on to describe the moment in which he proposed marriage to Salman. We were heading to Nepal, she explained. I was sitting next him. I took his picture and showed it to him. ‘I have come to marry you!’ I informed him. ‘I have a girlfriend,’ he added. It doesn’t matter, I said. I was an adolescent. Somi stated that they began dating after the age of 17. ‘He told me earlier, I love you,’ the actress added. This was quite convincing.
