Asim Azhar, a singer, has proposed to Merub Ali, a longtime friend.
On Sunday evening, the couple both announced their engagement on Instagram.

After they were spotted together, there have been numerous reports about the couple. Asim Azhar denied he was dating the fashion model in July of last year. He had, however, disproved rumours that they were linked based on doctored images.
Merub was featured in an in December, where she discussed her journey in great detail. “We’re not step-siblings, we’re not cousins,” Merub Ali replied when asked about her relationship with the singer. We’ve known each other since childhood and are good family friends. His best friend is my brother, and our mothers are best friends as well.”
Merub Ali made his acting debut in Sinf-e-Aahan, a new drama with a star-studded cast that includes Sajal Aly, Syra Yousuf, Yumna Zaidi, and Kubra Khan.
