The premiere of the upcoming series Khalish Part 1’s trailer, which was released on Saturday by streaming juggernaut ULLU, has the power to elicit all human emotions.

A woman whose parents forced her into early marriage is the subject of the story Khalis. She is now left with nothing but her son after her husband passed away. Her son is the happiest he has ever been as she welcomes her bahu home shortly after. The saas becomes angrier towards the bahu over time, criticising all of her choices and questioning everything she does. Despite her best efforts, the bahu is unable to make an impression on her saas and cannot identify the cause of her icy behaviour. She eventually discovers that she is in love with a neighbouring man after following her saas.
She admits this to her saas and explains how her husband’s death and the subsequent loneliness after their brief marriage could have had a variety of negative effects on her life.
The saas, who was initially hesitant, confides in her young bahu and tells her about the risqué dreams she has been having concerning a young man in their neighbourhood. Now that the bahu wants the best for her saas, she makes a promise that she will make him fall in love with her in an effort to win her over.
A little assistance from her bahu allows the saas to fulfil her lifelong ambitions.

The lead actresses in Khalish are Aliya Naaz and Priya Gamre. On May 26, it will start streaming on ULLU. “Dil se yaad Kiya hai usse dekho,” reads the caption on a video the series’ creators posted. Usse bas deko, Humra hee nasa hai Aayegi humre pass wo Na jaane kab pyaar mehraba humra hoga dekho.
