The visit of Prince William and Kate Middleton to Jamaica has sparked outrage among Meghan Markle fans.
The nation is’very’ angry about Meghan’s treatment, according to political correspondent Nadine Batchelor-Hunt.
“I believe that the British public and the Royal Family are unaware of the outrage felt by Jamaicans over Meghan’s treatment. The Royal Family should also be concerned because the decolonisation movement has gained traction in recent years: Barbados recently abolished the Queen as head of state “Nadine expressed her feelings.
Meanwhile, Jamaicans have demanded independence from the Queen and want to hold a referendum on the issue.
Noel Phillips, a correspondent for Good Morning Britain, believes that as soon as William and Kate return to the United Kingdom, Jamaica will “begin the process of removing the Queen as Head of State.”
“The people of the country will be asked to vote on whether they want to leave or not,” he explained.
“Because Prime Minister Andrew Holness commands a large majority, he does not need to go to the people.”
She called the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s royal tour a “total failure” and “tone-deaf.”
Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu also took to Twitter to criticise the monarchy during his current visit.
“Once the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge depart, Jamaica’s government will begin the process of removing the Queen as Head of State.”

For the first time as a couple, William and Kate have ventured to the Caribbean.
In 2012, Prince Harry was the most recent senior royal to visit the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Belize.
