In the matter of launching a social media campaign against actor and singer Ali Zafar, Lahore District Court issued an arrest order for singer Meesha Shafi.
In the case of the Federal Investigation Agency, Judicial Magistrate Ghulam Murtazahas issued bailable arrest warrants for Meesha Shafi and her co-accused Mahim Javed (FIA).
If Ali Zafar’s lawyer did not provide arguments on the outstanding petitions at the next hearing, the decision would be made based on the prosecutor’s arguments.
Iffat Omar, Faizan Raza, Haseem-ul-Zaman, Fareeha Ayub, Ali Gul, and Leena Ghani, who were nominated as defendants in the case, concluded their attendance.
On the basis of Ali Zafar’s accusation, the FIA launched a case against eight defendants, including Meesha Shafi. According to the FIA’s accusation, Meesha Shafi and the other defendants conducted a social media se**xual harassment campaign against Ali Zafar. In their defence, the accused were unable to produce tangible proof.
