Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox got engaged on January 11, 2022, after dating for over two years. Machine Gun Kelly reportedly claimed that he just placed his phone ‘against a cup’ to video the proposal, with no cameras present.
However, the proposal video released on Megan Fox’s Instagram is a three-camera video, with the rapper and the actress captured from three distinct perspectives as he dropped down on one knee to propose. In a recent interview with Vogue, the singer explained that they opted to broadcast the video and facts on social media in order to control the storey, rather than someone witnessing fiancée Megan Fox wearing a ring.
When asked about the video, MGK stated, I just recorded it on my cell phone. And it wasnt like we had photographers or anything. It was just setting my phone against a cup, he asserted. However, in Megan’s video, the pair can be seen from the bottom of the stairs, with a second perspective showing a side view of them. The final shot in the video is of them facing Megan, with the camera behind Machine.
The video shows Kelly dropping down on one knee in a particular place to the pair, as Fox stands stunned with her hands over her mouth. Megan also got down on her knees and let MGK, born Colson Baker, place the engagement ring on her finger. The couple then threw their arms around one another and kissed.
However, in the same interview with Vogue, Megan Fox stated that she did not believe their engagement would be a “big gigantic storey.” I dont really look at social media or anything, so I dont know. the 35-year-old actress added. Megan added a lengthy description on the proposal video upload, revealing that they ‘drank each other’s blood’ to commemorate the event.
