In the 70th edition of the pageant in Puerto Rico, Karolina Bielawska from Poland was crowned Miss World 2021.
In San Juan, Puerto Rico, the coronation was held at the Coca-Cola Music Hall. The first runner-up was Shree Saini of the United States, while Olivia Yace of Côte d’Ivoire was the second runner-up.
After being postponed due to the coronavirus in December, 40 semi-finalists returned to Puerto Rico, and Karolina was chosen for Miss World. The Miss World Finals were televised in over 100 countries around the world.
Karolina, the winner, is working on a master’s degree in management and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in the future. She also works as a model and enjoys swimming, scuba diving, tennis, and badminton. She hopes to become a motivational speaker in the future.
Every Sunday, she also assists in the distribution of food, beverages, clothing, masks, legal advice, and professional medical care to those in need. “I was shocked when I heard her name,” she admitted after being named the 70th Miss World. I’m still in awe of being named Miss World. For the rest of my life, I will remember it.
