Actor Humayun Saeed has spoken out against the predicament of female physicians who do not return to their professional responsibilities after marrying.
The Mere Paas Tum Ho actress took to Twitter to explain how there is a need to spotlight the issue in order to have more ladies participate in the working economy, as well as the possibility of a project addressing this issue.
Disappointed to find out that only 1 out of 4 female doctors practice after graduation in Pakistan because of family pressure. Thinking of a new project, maybe to highlight this issue. Lets encourage women to pursue their dreams. #DoctorBahu,
he wrote.
On the professional front, Saeed is the first Pakistani actor to be cast in a Netflix original. He’s been cast as Diana’s love interest in the forthcoming season of the enormously popular award-winning drama.
