Sher Afzal Khan Marwat Advocate, the PTI’s leader, and Senator Afnan Ullah Khan, the PML-N’s leader, got into a physical altercation on Javed Chaudhry’s Express News talk show.
Both politicians admitted to fighting on the show, but they avoided talking about who triumphed.
Afnan Ullah, the late Mushahid Ullah Khan’s son, is alleged to have abused former prime minister Imran Khan on the program, which is where the altercation reportedly began, according to sources at Express News.
When Afnan Ullah Khan allegedly used derogatory language against his imprisoned leader, a furious Marwat is said to have slapped him.
The PTI lawyer was then allegedly overpowered by the PML-N Senator after being pinned to the ground and kicked and punched before the crew stepped in.
The fact that Marwat left the show after the fight is confirmed by a clip that Afnan Ullah Khan tweeted, even though there isn’t yet any video of the confrontation online.
Marwat tweeted that he was left with no choice after his leader was abused by the PML-N Senator. Marwat and his party, the PTI, are at odds over his disagreements with Shoaib Shaheen, another member of Imran Khan’s legal team.
