Archie and Lilibet Markle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, appear to be abandoning all hope of ever being referred to as prince or princess, even when their grandfather, Prince Charles, assumes the throne.
According to the Daily Mail, Prince Charles is keen to trim down the monarchy after he takes over the throne from his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
According to royal sources, the Prince of Wales informed his youngest son, the Duke of Sussex, that if he becomes monarch, he will make changes to important papers that would prevent his grandson from receiving the title of prince.
“Harry and Meghan were told Archie would never be a Prince, even when Charles became King,” said the insider.
The allegations have obviously strained Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the Firm.
According to Charles’ plan, only direct family members would get the titles, as well as taxpayer-funded financial and police assistance.
