Maulana Fazlur, Nawaz Sharif discuss number game for no-confidence motion against PM

Maulana Fazlur, the chairman of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and the head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), and Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister and leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), spoke by phone on Saturday.

The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan and bilateral relations were discussed during the telephonic talk.

The leaders also spoke about the present political scenario in the country and expressed pleasure with the number game around the no-confidence motion.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Fazlur Rehman and Nawaz Sharif have agreed to overthrow the government as soon as possible in order to save the country from the current administration.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had earlier in the day stated that all allies are on our side, and that the opposition should pursue their no-confidence motion.

Members of the National Assembly from the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), such as Riaz Fatyana and Nasrullah Dareshk, met with Prime Minister Imran Khan, according to reports. Yesterday was the meeting. The conference also included federal ministers.
