Aurat March 2021: International Women's Day Rallies Routes And Schedules

In honour of International Women’s Day, Pakistan will host Aurat March rallies around the country tomorrow (Monday). The women would demonstrate in support of their rights and the discrimination they face in society.
The traffic routes and strategies for the International Women’s Day rallies in Pakistan have been made public.

Karachi.

In the city of Metropolis, the organizers of the march have ensured social distance due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“6 feet Ki Doori, Magar Inqilab Zaruri [please make sure the distance of 6 feet but the revolution is very important],” they wrote in an update on the official Twitter account.

Aurat March Karachi will be held at 3 pm in the Ferer Karachi Hall.

Lahore.
Aurat March Rally in Lahore will “from Lahore Press Club in front of the PIA building!”

“There is also a designated entry point for different and old people. It is a road between the governor’s house and Al Hamrah,” they wrote on Twitter.


Rally organizers have made it mandatory for everyone to follow the Coronavirus SOP. The event will begin at 2pm.

Islamabad.
March Aurat in Islamabad will begin at 1:00 noon and the main event will be held at the Club Press Islamabad.

Quetta.
Aurat Azadi March in Quetta will begin at 3:00 a.m. at the Quetta Press Club, where women from around the city will gather to raise their voices on the problems they face.

Multan.
This is the second time that Multan holds the progress of Aurat with the aim of “fighting against patriarchy and Covid-19 simultaneously.”
The rally will start at the Nawa Shehar Chowk, will go through the LMQ and Abdali Road road, with the main event and scheduled speeches to be held at the Press Club Multan.

Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkana
Aurat March Sindh Organizers: who represent feminists and allies of Hyderabad, Sukkur and Larkana, have announced that their meeting will begin from the Shahbaz building to the Hyderabad press club.
